Something New!

I finally got a chance this summer to sit down and create something new. I created these two one page layouts to enter in a local fair. Both layouts got first place!

The category for this one was the Fair. I used my photos from last year's visit to the fair.

I liked the bright colours from the Zippidee paper pack(CTMH) for this layout. The fair photos had lots of colour and the papers looked great with the pictures. I used the Field Trip Alphabet and the Ticket to Ride stamp set from the Zippidee Workshop on the Go.

The second layout I entered was a special occasion with grandparents. I decided to scrapbook this year's Canada Day photos of the girls with their Gramma and Poppie on Canada Day.

For this layout I used the Vintage Canada Stamp Set from CTMH which is now retired. I decided to use only Cardstock for this layout. The Colours I chose were Cranberry, Desert Sand, Bamboo and Colonial White.

Something Splendid!

I thought I would post this card that I made for Mother's Day. I made it using CTMH's August Stamp of the Month...Something Splendid. I used a card template from the Wishes Card Confidence Program. The paper is from our now unavailable paper pack Bella. CTMH put out their retiring list earlier this month and many items are going fast.

Our new Fall/Winter Idea Book is active on September 1, and is full of lots fun and bright new items! I have an order of new products coming soon and I can not wait to play with it! I will hopefully be posting some new creations soon!

Hello Everyone!

I was so excited to start this blog and then...well I guess I am a procrastinator. I get busy with everything...my day job, my children...LIFE!

Well I am starting my two weeks of summer holidays tonight and I am hoping to get some scrapbooking done as well as some house cleaning and organizing! I want to be ready to play with the new Fall and Winter products from CTMH...They look AMAZING!!! I can hardly wait!

As soon as I saw the totally adorable Hedgehogs in July's Stamp of the Month Happy Forever I could not wait to play with them. Here is a layout that I made for my June's Children's Workshop. I used the Splendor paper pack from CTMH. I kept the layout simple and all the children enjoyed creating it!

I hope to be posting some more artwork soon!

Cherry-O Layout

Hello Everyone!

Here is the sneak peak from the CTMH Summer Idea Book...

I used the new Cherry-O paper pack for this layout. This is such a fun and bright paper pack to work with! The colours looked great with the photos of my daughter relaxing one day last fall. I used my favourite Alphabet stamp set...Rustic and the new Bowl of Cherries stamp set that comes with the Cherry-O Workshop on the Go Kit.

This is my June Adult's workshop layout...

Miracle Layouts

Hello Everyone!

I thought that I would share the layouts that I made with the CTMH Miracle Scrapbooking Kit. These layouts were so easy to put together. I loved using the Irresistibles Dimensional Elements. I made the exact layouts from the Kit and I have extra supplies left to be creative with myself!

These layouts were perfect for our pictures from a family trip to Maine last summer!

My First Post!

I have been considering the whole "Blog" idea for over a year now. I really love looking at everyone's blogs and all of the amazing artwork featured on them. I was not sure if I was ready to have my creations displayed for the " whole world" to see...But I am celebrating my 4th year as a Close to my Heart Consultant this month! And...I wanted to do something different...something new...so here I am!

I loved the Springtime stamp set from CTMH...as soon as I saw it...it was mine! My husband now knows that our children must be dressed to match my scrapbooking...well most of the time! So it was no surprise to him that our girls got new rain boots and that Easter Bunny brought them cute girly umbrellas. I used the Caboodle Level 2 Paper Pack from CTMH for this layout. Some cute embellishments and of course each rain drop, the tops of the rubber boots and the little ducks beaks and feet all have been liquid glassed!

This is my April's Adult Workshop layout...
